Thanks to directly importing from our friend Alessandro (Alex) in Italy, this is by far the best value in extra virgin olive oil we have ever seen. Alex produces it from olive groves near the beautiful medieval town of Lucignano, in Tuscany, Italy. This oil has a nice rounded rustic flavor with a peppery tickle typically found in Tuscan oils. Use it for dressing salads and making vinaigrettes, and as a "chef's secret" to add flavor to all sorts of dishes. For example, you can fry eggs in it, or salmon for that matter. Or drizzle it over grilled meats, pasta dishes...even a small sprinkling on pizza or a teaspoon in soups adds depth of flavor.
