Mike-Sells is the oldest potato chip company in the United States! These chips are made with peanut oil and taste FANTASTIC! The company has been in business since 1910, when Daniel W. Mikesell went into business selling dried beef and sausage. Shortly after that, Mr. Mikesell purchased equipment to produce potato chips. He called these chips “Saratoga Chips”, after the place in which they originated. As business became larger and larger, they were in need of a trademarked name—Mike-Sells, a “play on words”, became the new name of these delicious potato chips.
